The information, text, graphics and links provided herein are provided by NAHB as a convenience to housing consumers and builders in furtherance of NAHB’s tax-exempt purposes. Nevertheless, use of the web site is conditioned on the User’s acceptance of all of the terms and conditions contained in or on the site. Use of the site constitutes the user’s agreement to abide by the aforementioned terms and conditions.

NAHB does not warrant the accuracy, or completeness of the information, text, graphics, links and other items contained in this site or any other site.

Except as expressly provided above, nothing contained herein shall be construed as conferring by implication, estoppel or otherwise any license or right under any patent, copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right of NAHB or any third party.

The material included in this web site has been compiled from a variety of sources, and is subject to change without notice from NAHB. NAHB is makes no representations nor does it endorse the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or reliability of any material or data displayed, uploaded or distributed on the site or available through links in this site.

You agree that you will not use the name of the National Association of Home Builders of the United States or the NAHB logo in any advertising.

Digital Products Policy
Digital products are defined as electronic files, web pages, directories, and/or web site content subscriptions that are offered for sale and fulfilled on the www.nahb.org web site.

All digital products become immediately available upon credit card confirmation. Links to digital products can be found in the customer’s order record in My Purchases. There are no shipping and handling charges for digital products. Sales tax only applies to customer’s whose credit card billing address is in the District of Columbia. Digital products may not be returned.

Online content items purchased on www.nahb.org are valid for 60 days from the date of purchase. Online content items are files or web pages available for sale on www.nahb.org.

Directory listings purchased on www.nahb.org are valid for one year from the date of purchase. At the end of one year, access to the directory listing will be revoked and the listing must be purchased again to continue access for another year. Directories are defined as entities that list information on like materials, such as a MIRM directory. Customers may purchase either access to view content or access to be listed in the directory. Customers submit their information via an online form. This form may be accessed for one year from the purchase date; changes may be made to the directory listing via the form as many times as desired. All directory information is subject to review by NAHB staff prior to its release on www.nahb.org. It may take up to two business day to approve directory listings. NAHB is free to alter listings should inappropriate information be posted. The listings found in the directory are subject to change, deletion, and update on a daily basis. The amount of materials found within each directory may vary – some directories offer more options than others. Please see your specific directory for details. All directories are made available for print download. NAHB recommends customers download any directories they wish to review for reference.

Content subscriptions purchased on www.nahb.org are valid for one year from the date of purchase. At the end of one year, access to the content subscription will be revoked and the product must be purchased again to continue access for another year. Note that content found within a content subscription is subject to change on a daily basis. NAHB recommends that any pages of interest found within the content subscription be downloaded and/or printed for future reference. NAHB cannot provide customers with expired content once it has been removed from the content subscription.

Magazine Subscription Policy
Magazine subscriptions purchased 15 days prior to a magazine release will ship with the next release. Magazine subscriptions purchased within 15 days of a release will ship with the following release.

Membership Policy
A membership is defined strictly as an at-large or international membership; online membership policies do not include renewals, local memberships, etc. Individuals wishing to join NAHB at-large must already be an NAHB member and unable to join a local council in their area.

NAHB guarantees that all at-large and international memberships are valid for one year from the purchasing date. At the end of one year, access to any exclusive membership materials, downloads, and content will be revoked and the membership must be purchased again.

All at-large and international memberships are valid immediately upon credit card verification. An NAHB PIN will be issued within 2 business days and follow-up collateral may arrive within 30 days via mail.

Subscription Ownership and Modification Policy

Items purchased on or through this web site, such as digital products, print magazines and at-large memberships, are subscription-based items. For purposes of NAHB’s content subscription records, the “Subscriber” is the person whose name is provided under:

“Shipping Information” during the checkout process if the purchase is a magazine or at-large membership (even if the name of another individual or entity is provided under “Billing Information” or as “Main Contact”).
“Main Contact” or the “Logged In Site Visitor” during the checkout process if the purchase is a digital product, such as online content subscription or PDF download (even if the name of another individual or entity is provided under “Billing Information”).

The Subscriber, as the person who has purchased either online access to view the content or the content itself, is deemed to be the sole owner of the content subscription.

Content subscriptions are non-transferable. Furthermore, only the Subscriber may modify the information in NAHB’s content subscription records. Requests for modification must be received in writing, signed and dated by the Subscriber, and faxed to NAHB at 202-266-8501, Attention: NAHB Webmaster.

Tax Policy
Tax will be applied to purchases for residents whose billing address is in the District of Columbia.

Cancellation Policy
Customers can cancel orders for at-large memberships or magazine subscriptions within 30 days of purchase. Digital products cannot be canceled. If a customer cancels an order for a magazine or membership before it has been processed, the order will be canceled and no funds will be debited. If the order has been processed, a refund will be credited to the charge card used to make the purchase.
