Advanced Green Building: Project Management
Boost production efficiency and customer satisfaction in this one-day course by learning how to integrate green-building tasks and certification (NGBS, LEED, etc.) into a streamlined project management process. Combining Project Management Institute (PMI) concepts with the “whole-house” approach to building, this course identifies important systems, documents and communication strategies. It is highly recommended that the Green Building for Building Professionals course be taken prior to this, or that an attendee has a basic understanding of green certification programs and how they work.
By completing this course, you will be able to:
• Describe how project management processes apply to green builders, remodelers and developers.
• Integrate certification for the ANSI-approved National Green Building Standard® into project management processes.
• Utilize green project management to increase operational efficiency and improve the bottom line.
• Identify ways to decrease the potential liabilities associated with green building.
